Why does my dog seem tired after boarding?
Changing environments, routines, diets, and any other pattern your dog experiences can cause stress. Every dog reacts and handles stress differently. After picking up your dog from a boarding kennel, you may see one or all of these five changes. Most will go away in a day or two.

Is it common for dogs to become ill after boarding?
Although it is not common for a dog to become ill after boarding, it is important to understand that it is impossible to create an environment that is 100% sterile and some dogs do become sick after stays at even the most well-kept boarding facilities.
What is your emergency plan for a pet that is being boarded or in doggie daycare?
If vet care is necessary we take fur babies to see Dr. Orange at Paw Haven during the day. Any after hours issues, we take fur babies to Veterinary Healthcare Associates.
What is your extended stay cancellation policy?
For boarding stays of 14 days or longer, we require 48 hours' notice for cancellations to receive a full refund of your deposit. This policy helps us accommodate other pets and maintain our scheduling. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation!
